The little idea that taught paper to remember.

“Share more than Words.”

liliAli turned greeting cards, postcards and gift tags into living memories — a video hidden behind one little code. It’s where the whole Emori dream began.

The product you knew is now retired — but its heart beats on in something bigger. The same idea now lives on for any object, not just paper.

One evening, I just wanted a simple way to slip a video into the greeting cards I was sending to friends. I searched everywhere for a service that could do it. There wasn’t one — so I built it myself.

The spark

A heartfelt card felt incomplete. Words on paper couldn’t hold a laugh, a wave, a voice.

The technology

QR codes were just taking off. I married them to a dead-simple mobile upload, so anyone could attach a memory.

The promise

Record it, upload it, get a code. Print it on anything. The recipient needed no special app — just curiosity.

The product

Two simple steps, one little code.

Create and upload your moment — then carry it into the real world on printed paper.

1

Create

Shoot a quick video or pick a few photos on your phone, tablet or computer. Camera-shy? Email it in instead.

2

Upload

Name your project and send it up. Moments later, liliAli handed you a one-of-a-kind code.

3

Share

Print the code on a card, gift tag or wrapping paper. A scan — or a quick visit on any PC — and the memory plays.

Leave a smile

Your stationery stood out from every other card in the stack — because it moved.

a little family secret…

Where the name liliAli came from

It was always a family affair. The name holds a special meaning for my two kids — an inside joke I kept close. Some secrets are best carried forward, not explained. This one came with me into Emori.

The founder

One idea, built in Los Angeles.

A dream that everyone could share more than words.
